Ocean University of China (OUC) is a comprehensive university with particular strengths in oceanography and fisheries science, also OUC is one of the Double First-rate Universities in China. The motto of OUC is “Ocean embraces all streams; exploring promises reaching far.”

Ocean University of China has a long history of international education and had been accepting foreign students since 1960. In 2017, there were 1221 international students from 82 countries. OUC has three campuses – Yushan, Fushan and Laoshan. The School of International Education (SIE) is located in the Laoshan Campus, which is surrounded by mountains and seas with beautiful scenery.
